The Coastal Designer Concrete team, led by Tony Dzuheric, has a long history in concrete.

Tony completed carpentry and joinery course before becoming a concreter in the 80s. He has worked on jobs as diverse as the building of Erina Fair, Berkeley Vale High School, Wyong Tech, Terrigal Crown Plaza and Woy Woy Treatment Works.

In eight years at Masterton Homes, he calculates he laid 500-odd concrete slabs.

Tony has managed his own business for over 15 years and decided to look at the decorative side of concreting to give himself a new challenge.

“I looked into the concrete resurfacing products about 10 years ago, was excited by what I saw, attended the training courses and then gradually changed the direction of my business,” says Tony.

“The products we use, Covacrete, Cover-tex and Polymer Flooring, are unrivalled. We have had great success with the work we have done and our clients have been very happy with the results.”

Tony enjoys the creative side of the job immensely as clients have so much choice and flexibility with the design and colours.

“The resurfacing is so cost effective and it certainly adds street appeal and value to an existing home. It is also a perfect finish for a new home.

“The Polymer Flooring is also very popular because it not only looks great and is so easy to clean but it is non-allergenic and solvent free.”

As a licensed concreter, Tony can also pour and spray which is an added bonus for clients.
