Where can I use Cover-tex and Covacrete?

For best results, the existing concrete surface must be of sound or solid condition. If the concrete is of poor condition it should be replaced or repaired before applying Cover-tex or Covacrete.

Do the products have a warranty?

Yes, when applied in accordance with the manufacturer's specifications there is a five-year warranty when used in domestic situations and a two-year warranty for commercial use.

How thick are the coatings?

If a single base coat and two coats are applied, the surface may build up to approximately 5mm over the existing concrete.

What colours do you have?

There are a wide range of colours ranging from vibrant and contemporary colours such as Sandy Beige and Tuscan Yellow, through to more traditional colours like Terracotta and Brick Red.

Why do I need a basecoat?

A basecoat is always recommended to add uniformity and to improve the overall look of the final job.

Can I have a different basecoat colour?

Yes, you can choose a different basecoat for your job.

How often do I need to reseal?

The surfaces should be resealed every 18 months to two years with an approved sealer.

Is there anything I should do to safeguard the surface?

Yes, do not fill up a lawnmower with petrol on the surface as it could stain. Mud comes out with water. The colour does not fade with a maintenance program.

Can tyre marks be removed?

Yes, with a special solution.

How much do the products cost?

They are an economical alternative to replacing your existing concrete.

Can I do concrete resurfacing myself?

It is not recommended as a do-it-yourself project.

Polymer Flooring

What type of surfaces does Polymer Flooring stick to?

It adheres to concrete, masonry, most bricks, stable timber and chipboard flooring.

Is the flooring suitable for food areas?

Yes. It should be applied to a relevant thickness to provide sufficient protection from the underfloor. Often silica sand is used to increase the thickness.

Can I go over the flooring and reapply if my décor changes?

Yes, it is ideal for overcoating.

What decorative finishes are available?

A variety of coloured or fleck, full or part flake, holographic glitter or combinations of above. Coloured aggregate can also be used. Designs are unlimited.

What maintenance is required?

Clean the surface as required with water and water soluble cleaner. If necessary, recoat the top sealer coat as required.
